First 5 in a Class of Many
Another spin in the time machine to take a look at a few notable first........
1. Lunchbox The Green Hornet, I actually found some a website devoted to you guessed it Lunchbox History The Green Hornet box (pictured)has Green Hornet striking a bad guy with a gun in hand.
The Green Hornet was launched on the heals of Batman, which debuted some eight months earlier. Both shows were televised on NBC. Not unlike Batman, The Green Hornet did not last long. After its first telecast on September 9, 1966, it found its way out the door on July 14, 1967. But it still is quite a memorable show, mostly being associated with the late Bruce Lee, who played Kato in the series.
Found early on that the my well packed peanut butter & jelly sandwiches, not only were kept fresh from the harsh NYC winters but also made me Barry Bonds (on juice)when I swung that damn lunchbox at the bigger kids in elementary school. Wish I had a big kid luch box for the office today!
2. First Orginazation - Pop Warner/Pee Wee Football
Pop Warner was founded in 1929, continues to grow and serves as the only youth football, cheerleading & dance organization that requires its participants to maintain academic standards in order to participate. Pop Warner's commitment to academics is what separates the program from other youth sports around the world.

As the only national youth sports organization that requires scholastic aptitude to participate, Pop Warner is committed to developing America's young people on the field and off. Each year Pop Warner continues to expand its efforts in team and activity participation, as well as visibility and outreach in the community.
Since 1929, the Pop Warner Programs Philosophy has been that athletics and scholastics go hand in hand. At every level, Pop Warner programs seek to develop well-rounded young men and women who learn not only the fundamentals of football, cheerleading, and dance but also the importance of education in an atmosphere conducive to developing sound character while having a good time.
My participation in pop warner stem from the fact that my mother had me in violin lesson early on and my dad the "traditional man" thought that shyt was gay, so he gave me the option of playing sports looking back on this do you know how many black accomplish violinist there are? exactly Pops you miss the boat on that one! However it was a lot of fun for me and eventually got me my first athletic scholarship to college.

By the Late 1970's PRO-Keds had become synonymous with some of the biggest names in basketball history and professional sports, and attained cult status as the first real sneaker with style among New York City's early hip hop community.
Dame Dash has come on board to try and revitalize the company the shoe pictured is the Bun B designed "Free Pimp C" sneaker prior to his release, I have some suggestions for some of the newer lines Dame you listening?

Better believe she can do it, too. After her cop friend Carter
